Kozen is located in Rotterdam/Netherlands, which is quite close to one of the most significant port region of Europe and Our Kozen office in Rotterdam is capable of covering an area of Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and UK. Moreover, we, as Kozen, are capable of covering all Europe region together with our both Kozen offices (Rotterdam and Istanbul).
Kozen is also located in Tuzla/Istanbul which is at the east side of Istanbul that contains one of the most significant repair shipyard areas in Turkey and quite close to Yalova repair & new building shipyard area also quite close to the Gulf of Izmit (loading ports & steel mill / makers) as well.
Kozen acts for well-known banks to carry out valuation surveys on their behalf for all types of marine vehicles and vessels since 2011.
Kozen is also a nominated service provider for the following P&I Clubs, Insurance companies and Lloyd’s syndicates;

Our company has hatch cover tightness measurement test devices of Sherlog Mate (sdt 200) approved by Lloyd Register and Cargo Safe approved by ABS Class and all of Kozen’s surveyors have been provided with Ultrasonic test device operation/training certificate issued by the manufacturer company.
All of Kozen’s surveyors have sea experience. Two of Kozen’s surveyors have Product and LPG tanker vessel experience. Additionally, four of Kozen’s surveyors have ISM/ISPS Internal Auditor certificates as well as one of our Kozen’s surveyor is competent for P&I Loss Prevention as he has worked for P&I clubs and P&I insurance companies for long years as their underwriting loss prevention analyser. Three of Kozen’s surveyors have survey experience for “Classification Society and Recognised Organisation” to perform class and statutory surveys, including flag registration issues.

Our depth of knowledge and exceptional skill set enables us to carry out loss prevention; Hull and Machinery; Damage; pre-loading surveys and on/off hire surveys to the highest standards. Our surveyors also carry out ISM/ISPS internal audits, Flag inspections/audits and surveys along with other ship-management related regulatory surveys and audits.
We have a full inventory of the latest models of hatch cover tightness measurement devices, all with full IACS accreditation. Our surveyors are fully trained and certificated to operate these fully calibrated devices.
